Nissan introduces World’s first self-cleaning car

Are you the type of people who completely hate taking their cars for a wash? Worry no more, because Nissan has the answer. The Japanese automaker is working on a new type of protective coating that deflects dirt and/or water.

Dubbed the Ultra-Ever Dry, it essentially is a special layer of super-hydrophobic and oleophobic that is sprayed over the paint and acts as protective layer between the car and the road.

Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing this technology anytime soon because it is still early in testing. However, Nissan does have a video that proves it does work.
