Nissan Joins Japanese Drift Master’s Official Car Roster

Nissan signs on as an official manufacturer in Japanese Drift Master, bringing iconic models like the Skyline R34 to the indie drift racing game.

Drift enthusiasts, rejoice! Nissan has officially joined the ranks of licensed manufacturers in the indie street racing game, *Japanese Drift Master* (JDM). This move adds Nissan’s legendary vehicles to the game’s roster, alongside other iconic Japanese brands like Mazda.

While the full lineup of Nissan models has yet to be disclosed, the developers have teased the inclusion of the beloved Skyline R34, which has already been featured in promotional screenshots. Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of additional Nissan cars in the game.

*Japanese Drift Master* offers a unique twist on arcade-style racing, reminiscent of the drift events in classic *Need For Speed* games. It also features extensive visual and performance customization options. However, what sets JDM apart is its open-world setting in suburban Tokyo, where players can explore the city, participate in events, or interact with NPCs to initiate challenges.

Although the full game is still in development, with a planned release in 2024, a demo titled *Rise of the Scorpion* is already available. In this demo, players step into the shoes of a rebellious teenager focused on mastering the art of drifting, with a selection of unlicensed vehicles and various events to experience.

As the game’s release approaches, more manufacturers are expected to join the roster, so stay tuned for further updates.
