Official: beIN Sports signs Formula 1 deal for 2014

As previously reported, beIN Sports will become the exclusive FIA Formula 1 World Championship broadcaster in the Middle East and North Africa region in 2014 after officially signing a five-year deal this afternoon.

The network of sports channels, owned and operated by Al Jazeera Media Network, will broadcast all of the Formula 1 Grand Prix races live in both Arabic and English, beginning with the Australian Grand Prix in March.

Additionally, the network will show all of Formula 1’s support races, including GP2 and Porsche Supercup.
