The $2.35 million Oilstainlab HF-11 hypercar offers swappable 650-hp combustion and 850-hp electric powertrains, aimed at true driving enthusiasts and collectors.
Nikita and Iliya Bridan, twin brothers and seasoned automotive designers with experience at brands like Acura, Cadillac, Genesis, and Toyota, have created their own supercar company—Oilstainlab. Their mission? To craft hypercars that disrupt the norm, and their latest project, the HF-11, does just that.
The HF-11 is not your typical hypercar. It boasts a swappable powertrain, offering both a 650-hp internal combustion engine (ICE) and an 850-hp electric motor option, with a manual transmission for added thrill. The concept, though unusual, promises a hypercar that can adapt to the driver’s mood, whether they prefer the roar of a combustion engine or the silence of electric power.
The HF-11’s design is just as striking as its engineering. Weighing only 2000 pounds, it features a carbon-fiber tub built by the same Canadian factory responsible for the Ford GT. Composite body panels ensure it remains light, while its styling blends aggressive Porsche 911-like lines with hints of Jaguar F-type, creating a vehicle that looks ready to devour the road.
One of the car’s standout features is the option to easily swap between its ICE and electric powertrains. Customers can switch from a 650-hp flat-six engine revving to 12,000 rpm to an 860-hp electric motor that revs to 13,000 rpm. Both powertrains come included in the $2.35 million price tag, though opting solely for the gas-powered version will save you $500,000.
Oilstainlab isn’t just focused on performance; they’re also building a community. The company plans to build only 25 HF-11s and is looking for 11 passionate drivers, dubbed “Maniacs,” to be part of the car’s development and tuning process. According to Nikita, they’re aiming to create a family of dedicated enthusiasts who truly appreciate the art of driving.
While many automakers are constrained by regulations, Oilstainlab’s goal is to build cars that keep the joy of lightweight, engaging driving experiences alive—something no one else is offering in today’s market.
