February 22, 2016 – Pagani has released the first official photos of the Huayra BC, a hardcore version of the Huayra, named after Benny Caiola, a friend of Horacio Pagani and his first customer.
The Huayra BC is the most powerful street-legal Pagani to date, with 789 horsepower and a whopping 1099 Nm of torque courtesy of a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine that is mated to new seven-speed automated manual transmission.
It tips the scales at 1218 kilograms, which is 132 kilograms lighter than the standard Huayra, thanks to the use of a new composite material that is 50 percent lighter and 20 percent stronger than carbon fiber.
Pagani will produce 20 units, costing $2.5 million each. However, all have been sold.
