This is Sebastien Loeb’s new Pikes Peak beast [updated]

After a 14-year absence, French automaker Peugeot will be returning to the fabled Pikes Peak International Hill Climb next year, with nine-times world rally champion Sebastien Loeb on driving duties using their latest monster: the Peugeot 208 T16.

The 208 T16 shares very few components with the standard 208; it features a massive carbon fiber bodykit with a Le Mans-style rear wing, it also has a central driving position.

Peugeot refrained from unveiling further technical information, but we’re pretty sure it pumps out substantial horsepower and torque figures.

Update: A video has been added showing us footage of the legendary 405 T16 and the new 208 T16.
