January 25, 2017 – This project began with a 1987 Porsche 911 that had no engine, transmission and rear fenders, and was worth 600 US dollars.
The owner installed the 4G63 four-cylinder turbocharged engine from a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer VIII, and it has been tuned to produce 342 horsepower at the wheel, which is equivalent to approximately 400 hp at the crank. The engine is mated to a G50 manual transmission from a 1991 Porsche 911.
The Evo-powered Porsche was given the rear fenders of a 911 Turbo, which explains the wide hips. You can listen to the car in the video below, and watch a similar Porsche that has 650 hp in the second video.
