Porsche 911 Spirit 70 Celebrates the Seventies in Style
Porsche is channeling retro flair with the all-new 911 Spirit 70, a limited-edition convertible that pays tribute to the bold aesthetics of the 1970s and early ’80s. This exclusive release marks the third model in Porsche’s Heritage Design series, following the Targa 4S Heritage and 911 Sport Classic editions.
Based on the 992.2 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, the Spirit 70 features the T-Hybrid system, which pairs a 3.6-liter flat-six engine with an electric turbocharger. It delivers 534 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, exclusively through an 8-speed PDK transmission. Performance remains unchanged, but the styling is where this edition truly shines.
The Spirit 70 debuts a distinctive Olive Neo green exterior, accented with Bronzite finishes on the classic Fuchs-style wheels and bumpers. A black soft-top, bold racing stripe, and golden badging add visual drama, while the retro Porsche crest from 1963 adorns the hood.
Inside, the cabin showcases Porsche’s iconic Pasha pattern—a dynamic checkered design covering the seats, door panels, dash, and even the glovebox. Premium black leather and Olive Neo stitching round out the refined yet nostalgic interior. The instrument cluster also receives a vintage color scheme for added authenticity.
Only 1,500 examples will be produced. Buyers can also opt for a matching Spirit 70 timepiece, available exclusively to owners and featuring a unique edition number. While pricing hasn’t been confirmed, expect this collector-focused Porsche to command a premium.
