Porsche 911 Transformed into 900-HP RML Hypercar

RML Group’s P39 40SE hypercar, based on a Porsche 911 Turbo S, packs 900 horsepower and advanced aerodynamics, delivering stunning performance.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S has been radically transformed by RML Group into a 900-horsepower hypercar called the P39 40th Special Edition (40SE). Known for engineering marvels like the Nissan Juke-R and street-legal Aston Martin Vulcan, the UK-based RML has turned the 992.1-generation 911 into a beast of performance and design.

The P39 40SE features a longer wheelbase, Le Mans-inspired carbon fiber bodywork, and a slew of mechanical upgrades. These include enhanced turbochargers, improved intercoolers, high-performance manifolds, an Inconel exhaust system, and a new engine control unit (ECU). These modifications push the car’s twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine to a staggering 900 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, a significant increase over the standard Turbo S’s output.

RML claims that the P39 40SE is four seconds faster than the 911 GT3 RS on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, completing a lap in just 6 minutes and 45 seconds. It’s also quicker off the line, reaching 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and 100 mph in 5.3 seconds—a significant improvement over the stock Turbo S. Despite these upgrades, the top speed remains 205 mph.

RML has also enhanced the car’s aerodynamics with active aero features, a driver-controlled drag reduction system, and a carbon fiber body inspired by Le Mans prototypes. In Track Mode, the P39 40SE generates up to 1,460 pounds of downforce at 150 mph, significantly more than the Turbo S. A Tour Mode raises the ride height and softens the suspension for more comfortable driving.

Inside, RML upgraded the cabin with new sports seats featuring four-point harnesses for both front passengers. The rear seats have been removed and replaced with a half roll cage for added safety and performance.
