Porsche’s new 911 Turbo Cabriolet managed to destroy the highly popular Nissan GT-R in a recent drag race conducted by EvoTV. What’s fascinating is that the 911 Turbo did so without wearing an “S” badge.
The 911 Turbo generates 520 horsepower and 710 Nm of peak torque from a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six, while the GT-R’s 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 produces 550 horsepower and 631 Nm of peak torque. Both are four-wheel drive and feature a dual-clutch transmission. However, the Porsche is 75 kilograms lighter.
