The fourth round of the 2013/2014 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East saw the crowning of Zaid Ashkanani as race victor, while Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal got his first podium of the year.
Ashkanani secured a surprising pole position ahead of Clemens Schmid, with The Saudi Falcons right behind in third for ATF and fourth for Faisal Binladen.
Binladen enjoyed a great start during the race and ran as high as second, but a small error from the Saudi severely cost him; he dropped back several positions and eventually finished ninth.
AlFaisal had a trouble-free start, and a consistently quick pace throughout the race helped him maintain P3, ultimately scoring his first podium position of the, while Zaid Ashkanani won the race.
