It was a bittersweet weekend for The Saudi Falcons during rounds 7 and 8 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East, which took place on the Reem International Circuit in Saudi Arabia.
In round 7, both drivers finished on the podium as Abdulaziz Turki Alfaisal charged from fourth place on the grid to finish second ahead of team-mate Faisal Binladen; but during round 8, and with just 3 laps to go, Alfaisal rolled his Porsche off track after making contact with Kuwait’s Zaid Ashkanani. Binladen took another great result by clinching second place, which puts him in the Silver Michelin Trophy category lead.
