Richard Taylor the new chief of Prodrive has made it clear that his team and the MINI brand will not split as rumors where circulating lately. The rumors were saying that BMW wanted to end Prodrive’s contract due to disputes over the funding of the WRC program and speculation over this subject rise lately after the MINI failed to meet the 2012 WRC registration date. Taylor said that the rumors were new to them and the relationship is great especially after Sordo’s podium in Monte Carlo earlier last month.
