February 2, 2016 – The official entry list for the 2016 edition of the Qatar International Rally has been published by the QMMF, and it reveals 15 crews, topped by Middle East Rally Champion Nasser Al-Attiyah.
Al-Attiyah will drive the Skoda Fabia R5, much like his fellow countryman Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari who revealed his new R5 machine a few days ago; they are joined by Khalid Al Suwaidi who’s making an appearance in the Ford Fiesta R5.
The remaining 12 drivers will compete for Group N glory, most notably, Lebanon’s Rodolphe Asmar who’ll be driving alongside Joseph Matar in a Motortune Racing Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
Qatar International Rally kicks off on Thursday with a Super Special Stage, which is followed by 6 special stages on Friday and an additional 6 on Saturday.
