Volkswagen’s Jari-Matti Latvala remained in the lead of Rally Argentina after Saturday morning’s two opening special stages. Latvala, who was second quickest to Mikkelsen in SS6, managed to go fastest in SS7 and extend his lead from teammate Sebastien Ogier to 21 seconds.
Kris Meeke, meanwhile, maintains a comfortable third place overall ahead of Robert Kubica who’s under heavy pressure from M-Sport Ford’s Elfyn Evans.
2014 Jordan International Rally winner Nasser Al-Attiyah is 9th overall and in the WRC2 lead.
