Rally Mexico 2013: Sebastien Ogier in the lead after SS13

Volkswagen driver Sebastien Ogier leads following ten special stages on the second day of the Rally Mexico on Saturday dawn.

The winner of the last Rally of Sweden leads Qatar M-Sport Ford’s Mads Ostberg by 33 seconds with Citroen’s Mikko Hirvonen in third, 42 seconds off the lead.

Ogier won the first special of the second day before he was overtaken by Ostberg, who won the next two. The rivaling duo exchanged fastest times throughout the day, with the former proving quickest on the final 3 stages.

Ogier’s Volkswagen team-mate Jari-Matti Latvala retired during the early stages of the rally when he hit a rock and broke his Polo WRC’s front wishbone.

Nasser Al-Attiyah has been putting on a great performance so far; he’s sixth overall and more than a minute clear of seventh-placed Ken Block.
