February 14, 2015 – Volkswagen’s Sebastien Ogier has managed to close a 27-gap to leading teammate Andreas Mikkelsen this morning by winning 3 of the 4 special stages so far on Saturday.
The Frenchman found himself 24 seconds behind his teammate yesterday after making a costly mistake, but he has successfully clawed back that time today and the pair are now separated by 1.7 seconds only in the general standings.
Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville isn’t very off; the Belgian is third overall and just 10 seconds behind Ogier, while Citroen’s Mads Ostberg lies fourth overall, more than 50 seconds behind the leaders.
