Thank you all for coming tonight to this very special evening, Wednesday July 11th 2012 is a date that will go down in history. Setting a milestone for Lebanon and the Arab world in the Automotive industry.
Eleanor Roosevelt once said, the Future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams, for many years now W Motors has been a dream, a dream that was once mine, a dream that was shared with many and tonight I am honored to share this dream with you and with the world.
W Motors started many years ago, but its wasn’t until 2007, 5 year ago that i met the giants of the automotive industry, the legends behind the best cars ever made for decades, a company called Magna Steyr and this was the first time that I publicly spoke about W Motors to a professional. Seeing the reactions and getting the feedback of such a company, gave me even more faith and confidence in this project and in my conviction to proceed and to go forward in making W Motors come to life.
Meeting this company had a great impact on me, my project and my plans to go into production one day. Not knowing then that a few years later Magna Steyr will be the pillar behind the rise of W Motors.
It wasn’t until 2010, three years later that I took the initiative to go forward with W Motors and proceed with the design of the first concept car ‘project zenith’ which later led to the final design of our first production model.
It was then that the adventure started, Next thing I know, I was in Austria at Magnas’ headquarters presenting the design and production plans, from Austria I went to Turin Italy to Magnas’ exotic production division where I met with the Turin department headed by Mr.Tiziano Novo, as we started working on finding the perfect technical consultants and suppliers around the world to built this incredible company, W Motors.
It was at that moment in the project that I knew that W Motors was no longer a dream, but becoming a reality and gained even more certainty in the success of this company knowing that 4 years earlier I had met Magna Steyr and RUF Automobile at the Geneva Motor show by pure coincidence while W Motors was still an ambitious dream, far from becoming real anytime soon.
Today, we have formed the W Team, Magna Steyr, RUF Automobile, along with my design team and partners, together creating W Motors, together living this adventure, together making it a reality and no longer a dream.
W Motors, is the first Arab coach builder of high performance luxury sports cars, the first brand of Arab hyper-cars based in the Middle East.
We will be launching 2 different lines of vehicles, the Hyper-sport and the Super-sport.
The Hypersport, which will be launched in December of this year in Dubai, is mainly focused on Exclusivity, Luxury, Technology, Performance and Design.
The Supersport which will be launched the following year, is mainly focused on Driving pleasure, Performance, power and speed. Both following the distinctive W Motors style and design.
Tonight, for the first time, I will be presenting to you the Hyper-sport, the first model for W Motors to go into production. The design will be unveiled to you in a few moments, as a world exclusive premier, before the official Dubai launch in December of this year.
Our first model, the Hyper-sport, will only be limited to 5 production cars in the world; labeled as the most Exclusive high performance production car ever made. The body is fully made out of Carbon Fiber, hand crafted sheet by sheet in Italy, using the most authentic and refined techniques. The engine is also hand built and assembled piece by piece in Germany, making sure that not one Hyper sport coming out of our production line is similar to the other.
The Hyper-sport is the most Luxurious sports car in the world. Diamond incrusted LED lights are the signature of W Motors, the client can chose from a variety of precious stones to integrate inside and outside the car. (Diamonds, Yellow Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald). The most refined interior materials are also offered such as Gold and platinum control buttons, replacing the plastic and aluminum buttons inside the car for a more luxurious feel. Gold plated and engraved engine cover is also designed to bring focus and importance to the heart of the vehicle. Special paint with crystal fragments, customized to the clients’ requirement, is also applied to the body of the car giving a unique, refined and luxurious look to the vehicle.
Luxurious services are also available to offer the upmost comfort and ease when inside the vehicle, such as the concierge service connected to the car ready to serve you 24h/24h and the flying doctors all come as standard as well, a team of qualified W engineers will fly to anywhere in the world to service your Hyper-car or to help with any problem the client might encounter at any given time.
All these elements make the W a priceless luxurious jewel and work of art.
The W is the most Technologically advanced hyper-car in the world. Our upcoming model will be the first and only car in the world to ever integrate a fully functional holographic display with interactive motion. Projecting a 9inch screen in the air and giving the driver and passenger full interaction and control over the multimedia interface of the car as well as other vehicle control systems; Such as turning on the car, GPS, telephone, music, video….all in 3 dimension and with full tactile control. This breakthrough in technology would place the W years ahead in innovation and exclusivity.
The W will offer astonishing Performances; it is one of the fastest and most powerful high performance sports car in its class. 750hp twin turbo flat six mid rear engine, makes this beast jump from 0 to 100kmh in less than 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 385kmh. This incredible engine, chassis and design, together combined create the ultimate driving machine for the most unique driving experience. Every single element in this vehicle has been meticulously studied and engineered to give just the right balance between power, torque and speed to deliver extraordinary performances for an exceptional driving pleasure.
The Hyper-sport has the most distinctive and exceptional design in the automotive world, with simple yet complicated shapes, futuristic yet faithful to its predecessors, creating a new niche of cars between a production vehicle and a concept show car, which we all wish we could drive one day. Elegant yet extreme looking with big air vents behind the front wheel arches, reminding us of the legendary racecars. A unique roof design with integrated air vents giving it a muscular and powerful look. A panoramic windshield is designed for greater visibility and a sleek sporty look. The Carbon fiber air blades in the back and on the sides inspired by the jet fighters and the werewolves give the feeling that this wolf is ready to turn into a beast once the engine is turned on. The Hypersport is simply unique in every single way.
From the moment you unlock the car and get closer to it, to the doors opening in such a unique way, getting inside and pressing the floating ignition button in mid air. Just listening to the engine roar when it wakes up, to feeling it transform into a beast when pushing it at high revs, the W is just an unforgettable experience, an experience leaving you craving for more.
