The first round of the Red Bull Car Park Drift qualifiers took place in Kuwait last friday on the 22nd of April, with presence of Lebanese rally champion and Red Bull athlete Abdo Feghali. Abdo displayed his drifting car and the qualifiers went along.
There were 4 judges (2 Kuwaitis & 2 Lebanese), and the drifting cars included Camaro, Z350, BMW, Mitsubishi, Corvette, Mustang among others.
The winner who qualified to the finals that will take place in Beirut next July is Salah Bin Eidan.
Last year’s winner and rally driver Mishari Al-Thefferi came second while Mubarak Rumeithan came third.
