In a first-of-its-kind move, the highly-successful Red Bull Car Park Drift, which we in the Middle East are quite accustomed to, recently invaded Europe, starting with Bulgaria’s capital Sofia.
7,000 fans and spectators attended the event which had 16 drift finalists, with Krasimir Stefanov eventually crowned King of Drift; Stefanov will represent Bulgaria during the World Final in Dubai in November. The star of the drifting days in Sofia was Aleksandr Grinchuk – the drift champion of Ukraine – who was the Head of the Jury during competitions.
