Red Bull Formula 1 car races Hornet fighter jet

Before their terrible start to the 2014 Formula 1 season in Australia, where Sebastien Vettel failed to finish the race and Daniel Ricciardo got disqualified from P2, Red Bull Racing took their their Formula 1 show car to the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) base at Sale to pit it against the astonishing power of an F/A-18 Hornet.

The Red Bull, driven by Daniel Ricciardo, is powered by a 2.4-liter V8 engine producing in excess of 700 horsepower, while the RAAF’s F/A-18 Hornet generates more than 13,000 horsepower from its two General Electric F404 turbofan engines.

Who will triumph? The answer is kind of a no-brainer…
