In Motor Trend’s latest comparison test, the 2013 SRT Viper faces a tough German rival in the the SLS AMG Black Series from Mercedes-Benz. Although the Viper’s 8.0-liter V10 engine is more powerful than the Black Series’ 6.2-liter V8 (640 horsepower vs 622 horsepower), the Mercedes’ 7-speed dual-clutch transmission gives it the edge over the Viper, which is equipped with a 6-speed manual.
