April 4, 2016 – Lebanese rally driver and 2015 FWD rally champion Robert Aaraj has announced that he won’t be taking part in the opening round of the 2016 Lebanese Rally Championship, the 32nd Spring Rally, this coming Sunday.
Aaraj made the announcement via his official Facebook page, stating work commitments and obligations, in addition to lack of practice, preparations and budget as the reasons behind this decision.

In 2015, Aaraj enjoyed a great season, finishing third in FWD at the Jezzine Rally, before claiming two class wins in the Cedars’ Rally and Rally of Lebanon to secure the FWD class title for the third year in a row.
