Lebanese Rally drivers Roger Feghali and Chafic Boulos have successfully completed the fifth round of the 2014 French Rally Championship, the Rouergue Rally 2014.
Roger Feghali and co-driver Joseph Matar finished fifth overall among more than 100 drivers and won the S2000 class in the Peugeot 207 S2000, whereas Chafic Boulos and co-driver Marc Haddad took another great result by finishing second in the R2 class and 50th overall. Chafic drove a Peugeot 208 VTI.
The superb result comes a month after the two teams competed in the fourth round of the 2014 French Rally Championship, the 49th Antibes Côte d’Azur Rally, where they put on a very impressive performance but unfortunately failed to finish due to separate accidents.
The 41st Rallye Aveyron Rouergue-Midi Pyrénées kicked off on Friday, July 11, with four special stages scheduled for the day, followed by six special stages on Saturday. Special Stages covered 123.20 kilometers of the 219.80-kilometer total distance.
