Roger Feghali confirms 23rd Cedars Rally win

Motortune driver Roger Feghali and co-driver Joseph Matar have been declared the winners of the 23rd Cedars Rally this afternoon, the Lebanese Rally Champion confirmed the news on his personal Facebook profile this afternoon. However, there hasn’t been any officially announcement from the ATCL.

The 11-times Rally of Lebanon victor was disqualified from the 2014 Cedars Rally after allegedly receiving help from competitor Joe Kfoury following an off-track moment for the Ford Fiesta R5 driver, but Roger appealed the stewards’ decision in hopes of retaking his win.

If the news is indeed official, Roger Feghali’s victory would demote his brother Abdo Feghali to second place overall and Eddy Abou Karam to third place overall, while Rodrigue Rahi would lose the final podium spot and drop to fourth overall.
