Nine-times Rally of Lebanon champion Roger Feghali clinched a well-deserved victory during the 3rd round of the 2012 Jordanian Rally.
Feghali took advantage of early retirees Ma’arouf Abou Samra who crashed at the very first stage, and Ala’a Khalifa whose mechanical failure forced him to stop during the second stage.
Drivers contested a very close stage 1, as Roger Feghali took the early lead of the Rally; his lead then stretched to a massive 56 seconds during stage 2; Mazen Tantach was 2nd.
Feghali maintained the gap into stage 3 of the rally; Mazen Tantach and Saeed Al Mouri remained 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Things continued the way they were up until stage 5 where the rally saw Mazen Tantach drop to 6th place after a mechanical failure.
Roger Feghali emerged as the clear winner after stage 6, with Saeed Al Mouri putting on a flawless drive to take 2nd place ahead of Ala’a Rashid in 3rd.
