Roger Feghali put on an absolutely dominant performance today during the 2013 Summer Rally in Jezzine to score his first victory of the season. Roger won all eight stages of the rally and crossed the finish line more than 3 minutes and a half ahead of Nicolas Amiouni.
Nicolas had to fight real hard for his position; he was 3 seconds behind Gilbert Bannout‘s MINI RRC with just one stage to go, but his run on the eighth and final stage was enough to pip Gilbert for the runner-up spot. Gilbert eventually finished third overall, 9 seconds ahead of fourth-place finisher Chafic Boulos.
Tamer Ghandour, who was down in 15th after SS1, managed to climb up the order to finish fifth overall.
A lot of drivers failed to finish the rally, including last week’s Baabdat Hill Climb winner Abdo Feghali who had a small accident on the very first special stage.
Henry Massaad won the front-wheel drive class on his Renault Clio RS and finished 10th overall ahead of category rival Robert Aaraj who finished just behind in 11th.
