May 30, 2015 – Roger Feghali and co-driver Joseph Matar have maintained their 2015 Antibes Côte D’Azur Rally lead at the end of Day 1 after another strong showing during Saturday’s second loop of stages.
Feghali had won all three special stages of the first loop earlier today, thus creating a 47-second gap to his rivals, and his run of victories continued into the first stage of the second loop (SS4).
After losing time in the fifth special, Feghali struck back in the final stage of the day (SS6) to take his fifth special stage win and extend his lead to 1 minute 29 seconds.
Tomorrow’s 50th Antibes Côte D’Azur Rally – third round of the 2015 French Rally Championship – action will be similarly divided into two loops of three special stages, with the opening special starting at 09:09 AM (Beirut time).
