June 30, 2017 – Roger Feghali will switch from the Mitsubishi Evo X R4 to a Skoda Fabia R5 for the upcoming Cedars Rally, in which Qatar’s Nasser Al-Attiyah is set to compete.
Roger completed the first two rounds of the season on the Evo X R4, winning the Spring Rally and finishing 2nd to his brother Abdo Feghali in Jezzine Rally. His Fabia R5 switch will boost his victory chances, and it will be his first appearance in an R5-spec car since the 2015 Rally of Lebanon.
Scheduled for July 9, the 26th Cedars Rally is expected to have five R5 cars, including two Skoda Fabia R5s driven by Roger and Abdo Feghali, two Ford Fiesta R5s driven by Raafat Al Mohtar and Nasser Al Attiyah, in addition to Eddy Abou Karam’s Hyundai i20 R5.
Cedars Rally is the penultimate round of the 2017 Lebanese Rally Championship and is considered a preparatory round for the prestigious Rally of Lebanon that is happening on August 25-27.
