Roger Feghali takes 2014 Spring Rally victory after dominant performance

Roger Feghali has once again demonstrated his supremacy in the Lebanese Rally Championship by clinching victory at the 30th Spring Rally this afternoon. Roger, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, dominated the whole event, winning six out of six special stages, to ultimately cross the finish line ahead of Abdo Feghali.

Abdo Feghali (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X R4) had a smooth run to second place overall, clocking consistent times from start to finish; his efforts, however, were not enough to beat his older brother.

Red Bull athlete Nicolas Amiouni (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) was having a tough battle with Tamer Ghandour (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) for the final podium spot, but the latter retired on the fourth special stage which left Amiouni in a comfortable position to finish on the podium.

Robert Aaraj won the front-wheel drive category in a Motortune Racing Citroen DS3 R3, while two of his main rivals faltered, with Bassel Abou Hamdan crashing his DS3 R3 on the first special stage and Hicham Al Abiad rolling his Clio RS in SS3.
