July 19, 2015 – Roger Feghali secured the 2015 Lebanese Hill Climb Championship title after claiming victory at the third and final round of the season that took place in Bkassine today.
Roger clocked 2 minutes 17.17 seconds on his first run, but a puncture in the second heat meant that he had to give it another try, which he did in the third heat, completing his final run in 2 minutes 16.01 seconds to take the overall win ahead of Jawad Slim and Michel Slaiby – who were locked in an intense battle for 2nd place – respectively.
Paul Kossaifi and Garo Haroutiounian put on a great show in the rear-wheel drive class, and it was Kossaifi who eventually took the class win, with Haroutiounian second ahead of Michel Zgheib.
Group N glory went to Tamer Ghandour, who fended off Joseph Hindy and Rodrigue Rahi for the win, with the latter two taking second and third in the class.
Robert Aaraj snatched the front-wheel drive class win, while Rony Kanaan and Henry Massaad settled for second and third places respectively.
