Lebanese Karting Phenomena Rubens Bouchabke starts 2011 on a high. 20 days ago Rubens who is a Lebanese karting champ participated in the second round of the Chrono Dutch Winter Cup. The tournament is a local carting championship in Holland and features young talents from all over Europe and sometimes from different places on earth. 9 year old Rubens had fierce competition throughout the race weekend, but he managed to qualify 2nd behind Dutch youngster Dilin Baze which knows the circuit by heart. Rubens finished the first race (15 Laps) in second place after fierce competition and touching with Baze, and then he did it again and finished the last race (14 Laps) 2nd.

Rubens participated on car with an engine that produces 7 bhp and is prepared by Lebanese mechanic Emile Azar of Emile Racing. The car was rented from a Dutch team and Emile helped Rubens with the guidelines of driving the car and managing on such a demanding circuit.

“I am very glad with this result” Says Rubens to Sport Auto Magazine, “I hope I come back in the next round and win the race. I never surrendered my position and I fought hard with Baze. I thank my family and Emile for their support in addition to everybody that stood by my side.”
