May 8, 2015 – After looking at the pictures and video below, you’ll find it hard to believe that Russian football player Andrey Yeshchenko made it out alive of this horrifying accident, and without any injuries.
The 31-year old, who was included in Russia’s 2014 FIFA World Cup squad, was captured by a traffic camera driving his Nissan GT-R straight into a cement pole at a reported speed of 170km/h. The footage also shows the player getting out of the car on his own.
Russia’s LifeNews news website and TV channel reported that Yeshchenko was driving drunk at the time of the incident.
