Following last weeks teaser video, Infiniti has pulled the wraps off of its Sebastian Vettel-influenced FX50 concept.
The FX50 Performance Concept was designed with contributions from Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who serves as a brand ambassador for Infiniti.
Vettel is earning his presence at his side gig with Infiniti and now providing input into vehicle design. The luxury Nissan brand saw fit to release this one image but didn’t provide any technical details or say much about which design aspects Vettel actually contribute to.
The FX50 Performance Concept is based on the facelifted FX50 crossover unveiled earlier this month. The changes we can spot on the front fascia are the new front bumper with integrated LED daytimers and that carbon spoiler with a curvy, almost European-ish design.
The rest includes the carbon side skirts, roof spoiler and that bit of the rear bumper we see also appears to come in carbon. The roof rails from the standard FX are also missing here and the rims are new too.
We await more in Frankfurt on September 13…
