The all-new Nissan Patrol, now with a twin-turbo V6 delivering 431bhp, features cutting-edge technology, luxury, and off-road prowess for adventurous drivers.
The seventh-generation Nissan Patrol has arrived, and it’s the most powerful iteration yet. Replacing the outgoing V8, the new model features a twin-turbocharged V6 that produces 431bhp and 516lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This marks a 7% torque increase and a significant 25% boost in horsepower. For those seeking a less aggressive option, Nissan also offers a naturally aspirated V6 with 312bhp and 285lb-ft of torque.
Equipped with advanced dynamic suspension and air suspension as standard, the Patrol enhances control across various terrains with six driving modes and a new transfer mode interlock system, optimizing performance automatically.
Inside, the redesigned cabin boasts quilted leather seats inspired by traditional Japanese woodwork, offering massage functions and eight-way adjustability. The interior is further enhanced by a panoramic sunroof, a massive 28.6-inch “Monolith” infotainment system, a 14.3-inch driver display, and a 12-speaker audio system. Mood lighting with 64 color options and Biometric Cooling air conditioning ensure maximum comfort.
The new Patrol also offers 30% more interior space and an additional nine liters of storage compared to the previous model. Technological upgrades include Nissan’s Google-driven Connect 2.0 software, alongside the ProPilot safety suite, which introduces an “Invisible Hood View” for better visibility during off-road conditions. Other safety features include emergency braking and lane departure warnings.
In terms of design, the Patrol retains its imposing proportions, now featuring a pronounced V-motion grille, dual C-shaped light clusters, a full-length rear light bar, and striking 22-inch wheels that add to its commanding presence.
The 2024 Nissan Patrol will first be available in select Middle Eastern markets starting in November, with global availability to follow. Pricing details have yet to be announced.
