During the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Shelby has unveiled a one-off Mustang GT500 Cobra as a tribute to Carroll Shelby who passed away back in May.
Shelby American, Ford Racing and Ford Motor Company have teamed up to create this one-off monster of a car which features a custom widened body painted in Guardsman Blue with white body stripes.
Powered by a supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine, the 2013 Shelby GT500 Cobra produces a staggering 850-horsepower, 188-hp more than the standard model.
The car is currently on display at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion this weekend, and will be touring the United States before being eventually auctioned off for charity.
