October 24, 2016 – Toyota’s 1JZ and 2JZ engines are very commonly used in the world of drifting because they’re cheap and easy to modify. You see them in typical drift cars from Toyota, BMW, Nissan and Ford.
However, one Chilean drifter installed a turbocharged 1JZ in a Mercedes 190E, which is a rather unusual choice for a drift car, but it works and because why the hell not?
