He could simply be considered the dark horse of this year’s first Speed Test event. Remember his name, Rabih Ayoub, and you might read it a lot in the future of Lebanese motorsports. Yesterday Rabih drove his road car to 2nd overall and 1st in the amateur category.
Rabih had a quick chat with us and told us a little bit about everything.
Rabih we saw that you were very fast today and you won your category, tell us more.
We had a prototype car prepared in KSA but the car arrived late due to the situation in Syria. We managed to participate on my road car. The car wasn’t that prepared, but it had the hydraulic hand brake onthe EVO X andthe ECU has been re-programmed by Philip Kazan, and we managed a good result.
What are you looking for in the coming couple of events?
You know there is a lot of competition but I believe we can always have a good result. My target is to be on the podium in the coming events.
Are you planning any Rally or Hill Climb participation?
I will be participating in the upcoming Cedars rally.
How did you find the fans and event in general?
Simply amazing.
