May 24, 2017 – Subaru is prepping a hot STI version of its popular BRZ sports car, new spy shots have revealed.
The BRZ STI was recently spotted testing in the US, sporting a large rear wing, STI badges covered in tape at the front and in the back, hidden front vents and Brembo brakes.
However, the STI version of the BRZ will probably be just a trim package that improves the car’s handling characteristics as Subaru will most likely keep the 2.0-liter boxer engine at 200 horsepower.
