After big success through out the first rounds of the UAE Sportbikes championship Mahmoud Tannir has added 2 wins to his tally last weekend, to step closer to winning the championship. The Lebanese rider has literally dominated the championship so far ahead of the last 4 races which should prove easy for him to win. Tannir who is competing on the Triumph Daytona 675 has only been closely challenged by his teammate through out the championship and rarely has he been beaten. After his double win Tannir said: “It was great to win these two races after more than two months break, really a fantastic day for me. It was tough to get back into the pace, but it all went very well. Of course the championship is on the back of my mind, so maybe I am not taking the risks as I am thinking better to finish and get points than not.”
