The 5 ugliest cars currently on sale in Lebanon

With so many talented designers out there, I don’t understand how some automakers manage to visually mess up some of their cars, and in some rare cases, most of their cars. The cars below are not bad, but they’re a pain to the eyes, and there’s one automaker in particular that just can’t seem to make proper-looking cars anymore (it took the #1 spot). Feel free to mention any car that you think deserves a spot on this list in the comment box below.

– 5 cars I’m tired of seeing on Lebanese roads

5. Dacia Sandero/Logan

Dacia-Logan-2014-

I understand this is a cheap, very basic entry-level car, but does it have to look so dull and uninspiring? Competitors like Kia and Hyundai offer cars in the same price range with MUCH better designs inside and out.

4. BMW 5 Series GT

BMW-5-Series-GT

The 5 Series GT has been available since 2009, but we don’t see it on our streets much, and there’s a good reason for that: it’s perhaps one of the ugliest BMWs ever produced, not to mention completely useless (you’re better off with a 5 Series Touring), and its poor worldwide sales prove it. Mercedes killed the hideous R-Class, now it’s your time to kill the 5 Series GT, BMW.

3. Honda Crosstour

Honda-Crosstour-2014

Honda says the Crosstour is a full-size crossover SUV. It’s not exactly full-size, and it’s definitely not an SUV, it’s not a station wagon, nor is it a four-door coupe. What is it? I have no idea; all I know is that it’s one horrible-looking car.

2. Nissan Patrol/Infiniti QX80

Infiniti-QX80-Nissan-Patrol-

What were Nissan’s designers thinking when they penned this? Did they run out of ideas, so they decided to glue headlights and taillights on a coffin with four wheels? SUVs don’t get any uglier than that, and it’s a real shame because the previous generation of the Patrol actually looks good.

1. Nissan Sunny

Nissan-Sunny-2014

And the top spot goes to Nissan again. Not only is the Sunny super ugly, but we also have to see plenty of it on our streets, which makes it even more unattractive and nauseating. Nothing on this car looks good, nothing. Seriously, Nissan needs to change its whole design team because its line-up is full of odd-looking cars (Micra, Juke, Murano, etc…).
