Thierry Neuville and co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul will be driving the Hyundai i20 WRC starting next season following Hyundai’s confirmation of the pair this morning via their Twitter account.
Hyundai Motorsport announced its return to the World Rally Championship in September of last year and has been very busy testing its i20 WRC challenger. The car will make its debut at the first round of the 2014 season in Monte Carlo.
Thierry Neuville, who first entered the WRC in 2012 with Citroen, currently drives for the Qatar-backed M-Sport Ford team; he lies second to Sebastien Ogier in the drivers’ championship and has enjoyed a string of great results so far this season.
