December 30, 2016 – To most car enthusiasts, the BMW E30 M3 does not require any modifications and is absolutely perfect in stock form. However, the owner of this particular E30 M3 disagrees.
The silver 1988 BMW M3 you see in the pictures (and video) is being sold on eBay for 40,000 US dollars and it benefits from a 5.7-litre Chevrolet Corvette LS1 V8 engine that produces 374 hp, which is 177 hp more than the stock four-cylinder BMW S14 engine.
The American V8 is mated to a T-56 manual transmission and sits on top of a BMW M Roadster suspension. Other modifications appear on the outside and include a lower ride height, aftermarket exhaust and black BBS wheels.
