February 1, 2016 – When we visited David Frem’s small workshop a couple of months ago to witness the Frem Immortal, we discovered that the big off-road vehicle has been on hold for quite awhile. However, Frem revealed that he’s working on another project, the Frem Hawk, and today you’re looking at the very first image of the vehicle.
Frem Hawk is a lightweight sports/muscle car inspired by several cars, most notably, the famous AC Cobra. Hawk is made from fiber and Kevlar composite materials and features an aluminum tubular chassis, all of which are used to keep the car as light as possible. David says the Hawk will weigh approximately 1250 kilograms.
It is powered by a GM Performance LS7 V8 engine that produces 600 horsepower; the engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that should help the car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, before topping out at 280 km/h.
Hawk will have anti-lock brakes (ABS) and an electronic stability program (ESP) that will intervene when necessary.
David is currently finalizing the Hawk’s design before kicking off the execution phase in the near future; he considers the Hawk to be the first Lebanese muscle car and aims to put it into production for interested customers.
