Okay, not really. Alex “Al” Buncombe is not the best driver in the world, but what he did at the first round of the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series this past weekend was absolutely amazing.
Buncombe, driving a Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, managed to get past 17 of his competitors on the first lap of the three-hour race at the Monza Circuit in Italy. He started the race in 32nd out of 44 cars, but ended his second lap in 13th position.
