May 22, 2017 – An RB26-powered Nissan Skyline R33 felt far too conventional for Danish drifter Christian Jæger who has the original engine swapped in for a Mercedes V12.
The unique drift-spec Nissan uses the M120 engine of a Mercedes S-Class (W140), which has been fitted with two turbochargers, and it produces more than 600 horsepower and 890 Nm of torque.
The large 6.0-liter engine is connected to a Nissan R32 dogbox transmission that transfers all that power to the rear wheels. It’s worth mentioning that the radiator was moved to the trunk of the car in order to accommodate the engine.
