November 24, 2016 – It looks like any ordinary Subaru Impreza WRX from the 1990s, but it’s a completely different beast under the skin because underneath its front bonnet lurks a BMW S85 engine.

In case you didn’t know, the S85 is a V10 engine designed by BMW for the E60 M5 and E63 M6. It’s capable of 500 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque and it has somehow found its way into this rear-wheel drive Subaru.
Sure, Subaru’s Boxer engines are amazing, but this is a Formula 1-inspired jewel of an engine so shush and enjoy the V10-powered Subie in action in the video you see below.
