Hennessey Reveals Manual Venom F5-M Roadster

Hennessey’s Venom F5-M Roadster, with 1,842hp and a manual gearbox, promises unmatched driving excitement. Only 12 units will be made.

Are you ready to make 1,842 horsepower even more thrilling? Introducing the Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster, which features a manual transmission for a more engaging driving experience. While the Venom F5 might have seemed familiar with its impressive specs and performance, the F5-M Roadster introduces a new level of excitement with its manual gearbox.

The “M” in F5-M stands for “manual,” and it signifies the inclusion of a six-speed gear lever and a clutch pedal. This makes the F5-M the most powerful manual production car on the market. However, production is extremely limited, with only 12 units planned, all of which are already sold out.

The F5-M’s interior has been redesigned to enhance the driving experience, featuring a carbon shifter positioned for optimal shift feel. The gate is crafted from billet aluminum, and the “Fury” V8 engine has been recalibrated to align with the new gear ratios. Despite slightly longer ratios, the F5-M maintains its status as a blisteringly fast supercar, likely retaining its top speed of over 250 mph.

Hennessey describes the F5-M as “speed reborn,” and CEO John Hennessey emphasizes its “old-school” charm and ultimate driving engagement. Buyers will enjoy customization options, including exclusive colors and unique design elements, such as a prominent 1,400mm dorsal fin on the rear deck. The distinctive livery is also unique to this model.

Nathan Malinick, Hennessey’s Director of Design, highlights the F5-M’s extreme and authentic American design, promising a thrilling driving experience that stands out from the rest. As with all previous Venoms, the F5-M will be assembled in Sealy, Texas. Notably, this manual version is part of the originally announced 30-unit Roadster production, emphasizing that traditional transmissions still hold significant appeal in high-end automotive markets. The F5-M will retail at $2.65 million, showcasing the enduring allure of a classic manual transmission in 2024.
