July 30, 2015 – It’s official, Top Gear’s former presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be launching a new show after signing a new deal with retail giant Amazon.
The trio of presenters have confirmed the signing via their official Twitter accounts, and they will be working with former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman for this new show.
The first episodes of the new motoring show, which doesn’t have a name yet, are scheduled to premiere sometime next year.
“Customers told us they wanted to see the team back on screen, and we are excited to make that happen,” said Jay Marine, vice president of Amazon Prime Video EU. “We can’t wait to see what Jeremy, Richard, James and the team will create in what is sure to be one of the most globally anticipated shows of 2016.”
