December 31, 2015 – A used 2013 Vauxhall/Opel Astra costs 7,500 British pounds in the UK, which is around 11,100 US dollars, but being featured on Top Gear will apparently boost the car’s resale value to an unreasonable price.
While the Vauxhall Astra is not particularly special, the one that was driven on Top Gear’s “Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car” segment has been recently sold on eBay for £17,800 or about $26,400, which can get you a brand new Astra in Lebanon, BUT a used BMW E92 M3 in the UK – we’d most certainly take the BMW.
However, it’s nice to own a car that was previously driven by the likes of Hugh Jackman, Will Smith, Ed Sheeran and James Blunt, among many other international celebrities.
